I am not really much for Valentines Day but as love takes many different guises I would like to wish all my Inn friends a very happy valentines day and hope you all have a good one as I love you all

Thanks Becks thats lovely! I use Valentines Day as a great excuse to have a nice meal and bottle of wine. DH is one of the least romantic men I have ever met but wouldn't swap him for the world.

By the way WOTV has gone back to allowing 20 entries again just to confuse everyone!
Postman just brought me a brochure for "Staffordshire" today.

Sheils OH isn't romantic either but as you say thats who I fell in love with and wouldn't change him

Must keep an eye on Waterstones facebook page today by my reckoning we are due a read and revew.

I haven't had my Horid Henry book either Becks - I got another FB read and review on Saturday.

Our post is still really erratic - generally get some every two days, but have been waiting for another couple of books from a different source for ages. Emailed the company running the comp last week and they say they've been despatched, but nothing yet. OH has been waiting for his car insurance docs for nearly a month - they keep saying they've posted them.

We had a problem a few years ago when it turned out that our postman had been taking home all the post he hadn't had time to deliver - he eventually hired a storage unit to put in all in. :eek:

We got 2 huge crates through in the end with post going back over 2 years, so I hope that's not happening again!

Thats really bad Sue. Bet it was strange going through all that post. Our post has been a bit funny lately too I think it was the weather so hoping it is starting to get back to notmal now. Still waiting for a few bits and pieces (and of course would always welcome little surprises)

My OH isn't romantic either Sheils he waited for me to give him a card first so wouldn't have got one if I hadn't give him a card! He is sat reading GIRL TALK mag as we speak! Certainly found his feminine side! :rotfl:

SueMaggie, that's shocking! :eek: I often worry about that happening as my last postie was lovely and knew I entered comps but the new one never brings any parcels!

Becks that's a lovely verse hope you get your book today I love horrid Henry....reminds me soooo much of my DS!

My DH used to be a postman so when we had anything important going away he carefully put them in the correct bundle going away etc. DS1s girlfriend's 21st card was one of these and it went missing causing us real embarasement and it turned out one of their own temporary staff was stealing cards to look for money. He got caught and sent to prison but let out on appeal. He then went on to work on fishing boats and drowned in a Welsh harbour after a night out.

Thanks Sue. Neither did I would have like that one as a gift but have won three times with them so can't complain. I think theirs are really easy to miss as the note never seems to appear on newsfeed so unless (like me) you stalk their page on a tuesday you can easily miss a win.
