Hurrah we are back. Blimey I was lost without any comps to do i had to resort to talking to OH who is in a bad mood cos somewhere in flats there is a lot of crashing, banging and shouting. We went where we thought it was to ask them be quiet and it was on old couple in their 60s who come to the door. Took wind out of OHs sails. Trouble with flats is noise carries funny so hard to judge where it coming from. We walked up three flors and listened at all the doors (sounds awful but its driving us batty) told OH to ring the flat warden and get them to investigate.

PMS, it was in the kids range and the adults as dd was gonna get a sweatshirt and I liked the minnie mouse one too!

Morning all,

Nice to see things are back to normal - I gave up quite early last night. Our internet was slow too so ended up watching the TV. Hope our rain has finished - it never stopped yesterday. Have booked our weekend away though - 1 night Lancaster and 1 night Whitehaven for the beginning of March at £29 a night. (Premier Inn) Love the Lakes off season so fingers crossed for decent weather.

Morning all. Dreading going out it was wet yesterday and now its all frozen so its like a skate rink outside blinking fantastic. Will have to go out extra early

BAD start to the day ... It can only get better

Was looking forward to a nice hot bath. Had been in bath all of a minute when the toilet started leaking again. Managed to jump out of bath wrap a towel round the water flow fling my dressing gown on to go and turn the water off (this isnt in our flat) and have had to phone the housing association to try and get someone too it. Last time they came out because it was no longer leaking at that time they didnt do anything so hopefully as i saw it i can show them where it was and they will do it now.

Postie just delivered my Tropicana voucher and the Sharpie pens from WOTV. Only found out I had won the pens on Tuesday so that was quick.

Well done on getting the prizes bishopsgirl. I can't believe the weather some parts are getting when I see them on TV. Think our area has been about the mildest in Europe - probably the wettest too though!
