Hope it isn't what OH missed as I didn't enter the latest comp for one. We got two between us last time around and din't need another surely they wont send them to people from previous comp?

Sitting here on my own doing comps and in and out of the Inn (Tv on in the background - happened to be Paranormal state) A little boy on it was being scared by seeing the ghost of an old man at nights in his room. I was sitting looking through a list of competitions I had done and though how creepy (1 eye on the TV and the other of my list of comps). Next thing there was a loud pop and all the lights have gone out in my house. Scared the bejesus out of me. Lucky I have the light from the TV and a Standard lamp on, its going to be fun going upstairs in the dark soon. I am not going to start fixing fuses at this time of night do it tomorrow in daylight.

Mornig all,

Bucketing down here and I think thats the forecast for the whole day - sigh! Won't get out for a walk today but on the bright side will get more ironing and comping done. Flowers have done me some good as mum got another lovely bunch yesterday and has agreed to look after the kids for 2 nights and let DH and me have a little break! There are a few £29 offers with Premier Inn and BOGOFs with Holiday Inn so must decide where to go. Birthday on 6th March so will go around then I think.
Hope you get your fuses sorted out Dreams - we got a trip switch last year which is much handier.

Ohhhh how lovely for you both Sheils, I need to pop over and have a look at them but from what I've read no cheap ones for sat and thats only night can do as OH works sat morns so can't do a fri night, right pain.

Not a comp win, but The Baby Show on FB have asked me to write a small 300 word thing on the sure start learning through play course I have been doing *was 3 weeks but LO ill 1st week so missed it*.....not a win but I've never been asked to write anything before I'm useless at putting things into words, but will do my best....hope they don't put it on facebook thou lol

I need to catch up on the dailies I've only got 4 in the folder now
