I still can't get my head around the fact that I don't have to go back to work again, it seems like an extended holiday. I have to remind myself that this is it and it's brilliant.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

Possibly, but hopefully not for a while. It can only get better as the weather warms up.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

I'm here too! Have had a house full of teenagers but only one extra left now as she is staying the night. I love Mrs Brown's Boys. We have had a few similar Scottish programmes but don't think they were shown much in England. Afraid I'm pretty sarcastic too.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

That would be nice Becks, thanks. I still have my 85 year old dad to visit and hopefully I'll be able to get him out and about when it gets warmer. My OH does shift work so he's about a lot of the time which is nice, we were like ships that pass in the night a lot of the time because he does mainly 2 - 10 shifts and I worked 9 - 2, time I got home he had left.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

I loved it when DH took early retirement as he was a postman and worked dreadful hours! It was great going to bed at the same time and watching TV together and all the things other peeps take for granted.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

My OH was a milkman for years, getting up at 2am 6 days a week. I don't know how he did it for so long. He worked 90 hours a week (he was self employed) and we worked it out that he was getting about 60p an hour. We were so in debt it was unreal. Thank God the Bank were so understanding, they could have 'pulled the plug' at any time and we would have lost everything. Then 12 years ago he got a job at Eurotunnel and has never looked back.Luck is believing you’re lucky – Tennessee Williams

Gosh 2am - I thought 4.20am was bad ! He did used to work nearly a 12 hour day sometimes when he was younger but at least he was on overtime rates. I was in banking and only worked a 3 day week but it is hard to work out how we did it with the kids. I quit after DD as conditions were getting worse and never missed it.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
