help!!! getting account numbers to claim ppi

hi, i am just about to start the journey into claiming back ppi, i have got my credit report from equifax but it does not provide me with the full account numbers that i need to fill out the template letter to get the copy of the agreements. Anyone have any ideas what i can do????

  • thanks, but some of them go back years and don't have the paperwork for them

    You could ask your bank,if you paid by DD they may still be listed.

    You could SAR each company,this will cost you £10 for each bank.

    This may not work for really old loans,but it will throw info up that they have on you,this may include loans that you have had.
    If you have internet banking,look at your dd list,this will show the account numbers.

    I have just managed to get my reference numbers for 2 old loans by ordering bank statements from 2002!

    The reference numbers are listed next to my Direct Debit payments. I can't believe I've managed to get this info.

    Now starting the claims process.

    It's worth a try.
