3days in berlin what to do and see

taking my partner to Berlin next week for a midweek break on monday the 12th.
got a nice hotel near the zoo

we went last year the fensehturn tower has a good view (on a clear day!!! we went twice so make sure its a clear day) checkpoint clarlie is worth a look the museum has lots of info. the reichstag (parliment) also the remaining bits of the berlin wall are worth a look. Berlin is a great city enjoy it

Have visisted Berlin the past two summers and it's a great city! I would recommend visiting the Reichstag (German parliament, as previously mentioned) - it has a large glass dome on the roof, which you can walk around inside with great views of the city. Potsdamer Platz is an ultra-modern complex with shops, museums, theatres, which is worth visiting (see here for info), and of course a wander down 'Unter den Linden' to the Brandenburg Gate. Friedrichstrasse and the Ku'damm are popular shopping streets, similar to Oxford Street and Regents Street in London. The Berliner Dom (cathedral) is located near the 'Museum Island' and TV tower, in Berlin Mitte (the former East). The city has so much to offer tourists! Have a great time

A couple of nightclubs in Berlin certainly opened my eyes and shocked a young, liberal person who thought they'd seen it all!

If you want to see the alternative side of Berlin, get out at nighttime - will open your eyes to things you thought were previously physically impossible!

We are going at the end of April for a weekend, really just going for a few nights out to enjoy ourselves, four adults going.

Was just wondering how expensive things are, especially drink and food over there. Does anyone know any good places to eat and more improtantly drink..and are there any nights clubs around that won't scar me for life???
