Possible New PPI Claims

I'm thinking of trying to recalim PPI for two things:
1) an Egg credit card taken out when i was at university full time. I think maybe i should be able to reclaim either due to feeling pressurised in to taking it out to assit with my credit application and due to my student status?
2) A HSBC loan. At this point I was also led to believe that it would help my application. Additionally, i was in a very good job with excellent sickness benefits (full pay for six months and wither 2/3 or 1/2 pay (not sure which) for the following months. The employers redundancy packages were also generous - 3 1/2 weeks pay per year.
Am i as entitled to reclaim as i think?

Your verbal accusations dont have much legs as far a complaint is concerned as you almost certainly dont have evidence to support your allegations. However, the fact you were a student on the first one and had 6 months full, 6 months half pay with the second one (check as they may ask you for evidence) means you have strong grounds there.
You dont need to have multiple reasons. you just need one strong reason. Verbal allegations are rubbish complaint reasons. So, go with the strong one.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Thanks for that.
I got similar responses in a seperate thread posted in the wrong place.
I actually have other, potential, PPI claims which could suceed or fail for the same reasons, but i think i'll wait to see how these go before deciding how to proceed with them.
I'll keep you, well everyone, posted.0 -
Just to keep you updated.
The first claim - that resulting from my time as a student - has now been paid out by Egg.
The other is being processed, slowly.0 -
Well done on your success with Egg.0

Easy isnt it when you have a valid complaint reason. No need for claims companies/ The firm cannot argue with facts. So far so good.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
