Amazon - getting cover on a Samsung Galaxy Tab

I bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 as an Xmas present.
Thinking about it (& its value) - if i'd have bought this in store, i'd have instantly been asked "do you want to cover that for 3/5 years" etc. No such option on Amazon (or if there is, i didn't see it).
I've just tried looking to get in touch with Amazon to see if i can take out cover now, but again, couldn't find such an option to do so.
Would i be able to take out additional cover with them? If so, how do i go about it?

What sort of "cover" are you referring to - extended warranty or insurance?0

OP, does your household insurance offer what you want?0

Odd, offers me warranties right under the device.
Amazon ones are provided by SquareTrade - warranty page is here:

Ahh damnit, i didn't see that.
Yeah extended warranties is what i want.
I don't know what my mums household insurance covers tbh. The tab will only ever be at home, so i'd just be looking for cover in the event of it just "failing" - not turning on, not charging or similar types of faults.0 -
Looking at the Samsung website, it appears that you can get an extended warranty directly from them.

I don't know how much it would cost but I wouldn't be surprised if it was cheaper than a 3rd party option.0
