Is EDF customer service improving?

I can hardly believe i'm writing this as I have had big problems with edf over the last few months (and ongoing on the well known DD setting issue), but praise where it's due.

This morning EDF answered the phone within 30 seconds and agreed to my request for a full rebate of my mother's £305 credit balance without any argument and with good grace.

It may be a false dawn, but I would be interested if others have found any change in approach, or tone, in how they are dealing with problems and complaints

  • i`ve had 3 call backs from EDF recently , exactly when they said they would as well - although currently they are trying to find out why a DD has been cancelled (and recalled) - the bank says they are acting on EDF instructions , EDF says payer cancelled it....
