Get lost keys back for free with a Nectar Keyring

Options
What's the deal?

Nectar card holders can sign up for a free keyring which has a freepost address written on it; so that if you lose your keys and some kind soul posts them to this address, Nectar will send them back to you free of charge. This means you get a level of protection for your keys and you don't have to include your personal details to get them back.

Other companies do sell this service, sometimes for up to £20, though you may already have it as a free extra with your home insurance (see cheap home insurance article) but this way you don't need anything.

How can I get the keyring?

If you're a Nectar member, sign into the Nectar website. Then select 'Your Account', then look at the left hand menu, you'll see "Request new key tag" at the bottom left. Alternatively, call the Nectar helpline and request one.

If you're not a member, then you can sign-up for free and they'll send you a card with your welcome pack. Nectar isn't the best reward scheme around, it's worth signing up just for this.

I have just paid £10 for a keyfob that provides a freepost address to return my keys should I have the misfortune to lose them. a week later I found this:
    FREE NECTAR card key fob.
You can ask nectar to provide you with a key tag, on this tag is a 'If found please return to Nectar FREEPOST' address.
I am not saying this would guarantee getting your keys back but if you find an honest soul it gives them a chance to return them to you!
As an added bonus you could use the Tag for the purpose for which it was intended and collect nectar points!!
Apologies if already posted, I Did search but could not find it. AND this is my first attempt at a post.

    Thanks for this, great idea.

I do worry sometimes that there could be a way of someone finding out your address from key fobs like this if you lost your keys somewhere. Am probably worrying far too much though!

    Hi,

I have a nectar account already but when I go to this link I don't see anything about a nectar card key fob. Am I missing something obvious?

    Help please
