My girlfriend and I stayed in the Hotel Las Vegas and could not recommend it enough.
The hotel is only a couple of hundred yards from the beach and has bars/restaurants within 100 yards. The food quality was excellent (we stayed HB) and is buffet style. There are two sittings for the evening meal and you will be allocated a table for your party on arrival. From memory the sittings are 16:00-19:30 and 19:30-21:00.
I'm not sure about the entertainment as we were out and about most nights.0 -

Depends on your budget but the Golden Port Salou is OK and the less expensive Best Oasis Park.
Both pretty central.0 -
Second the Las Vegas. The H10 Europa Park is also worth a look.:beer:0

We stayed at the H10 Delfin Park in salou last year and found it a nice place to stay but with VERY hard beds.0

Thomsons are doing good deals on Portaventura tickets, not sure if you need to book holiday through them?0

Have a look at onlineticketstore.co.uk but i think if you are going for 1 day, it's not worth pre-buying them. They were 44 Euros last year so will be the same or similar. 2 and more days i would pre-book. Thomas Cook or Thomsons will be able to help.
They have got a monster of a new ride for this summer. It's going to be the fastest and tallest in Europe!:beer:0
