I would argue it is a scam of sorts; they rely on people not reading their small print to get them locked into some direct debit agreement without providing any goods or services that anyone in their right mind would pay for. I'm not sure which company you're worried about offending or getting into legal trouble with - argos or the one with the dodgy direct debit trap? Whatever, I for one would really like to see them try take every dischuffed punter to court for calling them scammers online.

And yes, it was nasty. Re-read your post and imagine you're cleggy - you've basically said she can't read and implied she's stupid, in a sarcastic way. Manners cost nothing.
    Totally agreed!

    Cheers OP
    Great deal.

Picked up 2 of each from Croydon, Church Street, Argos yesterday.

Agreed. The "order into store for collection" option seems totally useless: it's never worked for me, this time, and on the occasions I've tried before...

It just says "out of stock" now - not even giving the order into store option.

Are these rejects? I picked one up yesterday and found some dents in it when I got home. I'm not really bothered about it for 89p though...

I have two of the roaster trays reserved at Wood Green Argos until 7pm today but won't be able to make it on time - if anyone would like them, shout and you can have my reservation code. :)

Collected mine from Bath store. OK for 99p, glad I didn't pay any more though.
