  • Picked mine up today...look pretty strong looking trays and worth 99p. Mine werent in any packaging so had to walk round town with all these trays clanking in carrier bags. The label on the back says Cookshop. Is this their own brand...Ive heard of Cookworks but not this?

Agreed. The "order into store for collection" option seems totally useless: it's never worked for me, this time, and on the occasions I've tried before...

I put a collection order through, it said it was out of stock, but could be ordered into the store next week. So I put that through and it said it was out of stock at the final stage of checking out. So I tried another shop and did the same. Now I have confirmation e-mails for both shops :/

I image that the stock level is changing so fast since it was posted here and on HDUK that they can't keep track and can't stop the automated e-mails being sent out. I will see if I can collect them but I won't hold me breath. I usually find their reserve and collect service really good to be fair though.
So so SO tired of being ripped off, and mislead
    Hope sharing saves some pain.
  • still showing stock at wakefield (retail park) for both and Leeds white rose for one

  • Many thanks. Reserved one of each and collected them this evening. Good quality.
P.S. Can someone tell me how to "thank" or can I not do this as a newbie. If so it is probably something obvious that I am missing. Thanks in advance.

Under each post is a thanks button and you just click on it to say thanks. You have to be logged in to do it, HTH .
  • Many thanks to Jag and Room512. I can't believe I didn't see that but I may have been looking before logging in. I even asked my son to look and he is "computer savvy". I have now thanked original poster and the two of you for your help.

My, aren't you a charmer? Your post adds nothing to the thread but a bit of nastiness. Cleggie hopefully warned/helped someone by sharing his mistake, no need to judge.

Its not nastiness, its pointing out where there is no scam,
when all too often its shouted from the rooftop.

I'm sorry, but I have a real problem with people crying scam
when it is nothing of the sort.

If you are happy to tarnish the name of a company with false
information on here then that's your lookout, but just so you
know, if you do such a thing and the company requests your
details from this site, then they will be handed over in the blink
of an eye, without any challenge from the legal team from this site.

Talking about not adding anything to the thread.. pot kettle spring
    to mind.. Oh the irony.
  • I would argue it is a scam of sorts; they rely on people not reading their small print to get them locked into some direct debit agreement without providing any goods or services that anyone in their right mind would pay for. I'm not sure which company you're worried about offending or getting into legal trouble with - argos or the one with the dodgy direct debit trap? Whatever, I for one would really like to see them try take every dischuffed punter to court for calling them scammers online.

And yes, it was nasty. Re-read your post and imagine you're cleggy - you've basically said she can't read and implied she's stupid, in a sarcastic way. Manners cost nothing.
