Success at last!

My husband took out a loan in 2008 with AA financial services as they had a favourable APR. The AA insisited that PPI was taken out and as we needed the money for a new car and our wedding, we went ahead with the loan.

After seeing Martin on tv, we looked into reclaiming the charges. This was some time ago, and we were turned down.

After some research on this website in late 2011 we tried reclaiming again and used the template from this site. We received the letter of acknowledgement from the AA to say they were going to look into our complaint.

Imagine my surprise when last night we got home from work last night to find a cheque for £4692!! What a result!! I was convinced we would be turned down again and have to refer our case to the Finaincial Ombudsman! We are very happy and the money couldn't have come at a better time!!

So, if you have already tried unsucessfully to make a claim in the past, I would highly recommend having a second attempt using the tools and templates available on this website! Thank you Martin!! We couldn't have done this without your advice! Long live moneysavingexpert.com!!
