I would imagine it is cancelled but why dont you write and call for clarification to avoid a shock later?

I was waiting for their letter of confirmation to come through the post as they accepted our payment offer via email but said they were sending written confirmation through the post.
It's arrived this morning and they will still be going to court and applying for the Liability Order so the costs have been added to the debt but they won't use the LO as long as we keep up to the offered payments so that's a good thing, just means we have to add an extra month on to how long it will take us to clear the arrears.
Can't believe we were silly enough to let C.Tax payments slip to be able to pay PDL's so we could borrow again half hour later to be able to afford to live for the month. You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Sorry to hear this
Is it worth appealing to the court that you were trying to pay the debt back not ignoring it so is it appropriate action for them to take? May get the costs refunded?
Good luck

Can I ask a question that may be obvious (and I may already answer myself)...
(I'm going to post it here cos you lot are lovely and have lots of good opinions. Plus I don't think it's worth starting a whole new thread!)
I'm with Co-op and am going to open a Co-op Savings account when I'm debt-free. This month, I've had a student loan rebate (£150) and I haven't spent so much on fuel/food due to time off work (£50ish). Got about £200 spare. I'd rather not keep it in my account as there will be temptation to spend it (Already have been thinking about it!) I've thought about asking CCCS if I can overpay a bit, but a;It won't change my DFD and, b;I might need it for an emergency.
Could I open that savings account now and send the money there and add the odd £20 to it in the next few months if I have it spare? I'm worried my creditors would see the account open on my file (Can they just see an additional account with £150 credit? What reason have they to check my file? No check recorded by financial institutions for years) and demand the money from inside it for themselves. Having said that, I'm making more than the minimum payments on all my debts (As the debts are relatively small now and my CCCS payment is relatively high) so would they even care? I don't want to open it now and get in trouble with creditors/CCCS for doing it.
Any opinions?LBM - 11/08

Congratulations on passing the 50% mark :j :T
Morning and thanks my Geektwin
Would be even nicer if interest had been stopped and I was reporting 58.01% but none the less, it is a damn site better than had I not gone onto the DMP, so woop woop. :j
I hope that encourages some of the newbies that the milestones just get better and better, even if not quite the pace we would like.

Thanks for that HH, I think
I'll open the account then...

Got a letter from Barclaycard today. It says we've been charged a 'late payment fee' (despite the cheque for the token being sent well before the due date and then they took over a week to bank it). But it also says;
"This notice is given under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 and relates to default sums charged under terms of your agreement. Total Default sums charged this month £12."
So is this a 'default notice'? Does it mean our credit file (for Barclaycard) will be clear 6 years from now?0
