I was talking about the John West £3.49 Tesco price in response to your £6.99 post.
The Value Tuna chunks are very meaty/intact. (the flakes I don;t like)
Thanks I didnt see those John West ones were half price, silly how one lot of John west is half price and the ones I listed arent
I tried the value chunks and in my opinion they are horrible, but its personal choice. Thanks again for pointing out the half price ones.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. Dont have a home bargain anywhere near me so its not an option
I saw the Princes Tuna Chunks in Brine 4pk in B&M yesterday at £2.99 and Princes Tuna Chunks in Sunflower oil 4pk at £3.29. Hopefully you have one near you so you can save money, £6.99 feels like a rip off to me.

Friday I bought 4pk Heinz Tomato Soup £1.59 per pack WAS A GREAT BUY.
Today I was going to pick up a couple BUT now they are 2 packs for £5.00! (could have easily missed the £1.82 price increase!)
(anyway I picked up 2 x 4pk Heinz Chicken Soup @ Iceland £1.50 each pack so fingers up to M....!!!)0 -
Can I make this a prediction thread?
We all know how supermarkets are trying their best to con us into thinking that their price drops are genuine. What they actually do is raise the price of a pre-sale item first and then cut them down claiming it is on discount.
Well how about we try and predict this phenomena? If anyone notices one of their regular shop items suddenly getting dearer for no apparent reason, then report it here and we can then all see if it does indeed get knocked back down again under the guise of a 'sale'
Who knows, maybe it might shame the retailers into realising that we are on to them.
What a great idea, anyone out there predicting any sales?0 -

Princes Tuna Chunks in Brine 4pk
Pack of 4 tinned Princes Tuna Chunks in Brine, high in omega 3. Each tin contains 185g of tuna.
Note the RRP? Now that's the price I expect to pay. £6.99 is definitely an over inflated price, charged just so that they can then stick it on *special offer*.0 -
Does anyone keep a price book and is it worth it?
Its supposed to be able to track the sales cycle and you can see when you are actually getting your actual bargain - now it all seems so insane0
