Got my interview in 12 hours and nerves have suddenly hit me like a wet fish in the face! Looking over my competencies and what looked good this afternoon suddenly looks awful

Have a bath and get a good nights sleep. You'll be fine. Good luck.

Me & my partner had our interviews at Brum today. We both felt Interview was pretty straight forward as far as questions were concerned. I was a bunch of nerves though and thought I spoke too fast at times.

As for trolls, I don't want to justify any of the things this forum has been accused of since I feel they dont deserve any time from any of us. :o

I was told scores would be posted over the weekend so its a waiting game now. Good luck to anyone still waiting to be interviewed and congratulations to all the guys sharing their wonderful scores:T

Sorry for the one's who are out of the running but you probably have something better in store for you.

Interview out of the way, its time to party (as still not had any bad interview scores :rotfl:) so going for
I hope we are pleasantly surprised (not:eek:) with our scores (like some of the guys) who have gone as far as thinking someone else's scores might have posted...:rotfl:

I wouldn't normally respond to extreme posts, but here goes nothing!!

There are alot of posters being told how to pass the system. So there are alot of incapable people going through the process because they know how to get through.

Bearing in mine many of the people who use this forum have failed to obtain good scores it could be counter argued that we filled them full of c**p

I have to Agree with MakemBill here.

Using the forum backfired on me big time, If it wasn't for the forum I would have just used the DWP guidances and prepare for a normal interview situation.

However I got the impression that I was suppose to talk about my whole competency from most user's comments here which bite me in the !!!!, I probably looked like a right mug probably talking about the overall competencies.

My highest mark was a 7, the one which consisted of me directly answering the question which was only a few sentences, at most a paragraph of talking. (I change my answers after they told me I was directly to answer the question only and not the whole competency.)

My feedback notes consisted of: not answering the question directly, not showing clear indications to the specific answer. One even said candidate was not focused. How !!!!ing rude, considering I wrote my competencies practiced them everyday so I don't get stuck in the interview just to be told I was NOT focused. lol.

Now I'm not sure if this was just a East London thing and it back fired because they went about it differently, or if some users where setting up clear failure indications, but at the beginning of the interview I did ask if it would be OK to expand on the compentecy and they said yes, which later they changed to answer the specific question only, I guess they didn't know what I mean't when I said expand. (The overall thing).

So now I'm a bad communicator :P Ah well, you live, you learn.

Hi, my interview is week after next week in Manchester. has anyone on this forum attended manchester interviews yet? Any feedback? Also is there any parking nearby? Thanks

As far as I know, the interviews start on Monday. This was the first day available when the invites went out. I pounced on it straight away! Mines on Monday, so I'll let you know when I get my feedback.

Plenty of parking round there. Just opposite Gmex, so you could use that parking.

Good luck. If we are both successful, we might be sharing a desk!
