iPads

I'm looking at buying 20 or so ipads for my school and have been trying to do lots of research regarding syncing multiple ipads, storage units, etc...

BUT...

I only have experience of windows PCs / Laptops, so what kind of spec would the mac book need to have that i will get in order to sync many ipads? (money is not a problem...)

You don't need a mac book. Anything that runs iTunes will do - I imagine any PC or laptop you buy today will be capable of running iTunes.
I think iPads will sync over wifi now, but I couldn't really be bothered to work out how to do this tbh - I rarely bother to sync them, I can't see the point - neither have important data on them. They can update the iOS over wifi too.

I wouldn't get a macbook to sync that many, get a desktop - The macbook will struggle!

As Humphrey10 said, any desktop with Itunes will work, providing they are set up correctly.

If you are buying that many, I would suggest that Apple Educational Support will probably give you better advice as part of teh deal

You don't sound qualified to be making purchases for a school, but as above, you don't need to sync them to a Mac, so you could use existing equipment, and I think the limitation really would be storage space.
