Ebay Help Please

Hi
Looking for a bit of advice please. I bought (and paid forvia paypal) an item on Ebay on 27th December (BIN), seller emailed that day to say thanks very much and she would post the next day. It is marked as posted on my ebay summary page as 29th December. To date, the item has not arrived. I have emailed the seller (friday and monday) to let her know and ask if she could track the item if she has tracking details. So far, no response. My gut feeling is telling me they are never going to arrive as I have been looking at her other items recently sold and I think she has listed them again and sold them to someone else. Any advice on what my next step is would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

OPen a basic dispute in paypal- do not let it divert you back to an ebay claim. OPenthe dispute on the basis of Item nto arrived- give the selelr 24 hours to repsond and then escalate it to a full chargeback.
Do not close the case regardless of what seller tells youI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Hi - it's me again!
Looking for a bit more help please. I did as Soolin advised above and have now opened a case with paypal - seller has responded with details of postage so when I look at 'open cases' it tells me that action is required by me. When I click on the 'respond' button, it says
Action required: please review seller information
The seller has responded to our request for tracking information. We haven't confirmed the tracking information yet but wanted to share it with you.- Tracking number:
- Delivery company:

Don't think you need to respond, its just for your info. All you need do now is wait until they review the case.
Does it go on to say something like
What happens next
If you still haven’t received your item, you don’t need to do anything. We will review the information submitted by the seller and contact you with any developments by xx Jan 2012.0 -
Thank you for that No Eye Deer - yes that's what it does say but it just threw me a bit with the 'action is required' bit.0

Not greatly worded by PayPal as the 'action required' is to 'please review seller information' (and then do nothing in your case). It does make it sound like you need to do something about it PDQ.
The logic I suppose is, if there was a number uploaded and you still didn't have the item, then you could communicate this fact in the case.0 -
I am having the same problem. Two dvd's ordered off different sellers on the 2nd Jan. One seller has suddenly (since I purchased the dvd) received lots of naturals and negs for not posting items for up to two weeks after the auction ends. I sent emails and ebay messages to both sellers after 7 days and heard nothing so opened the paypal disputes on Thursday. One seller has entered "royal mail second class" as the tracking info on the one dispute. But apart from that not heard a word from either seller. It's all a bit frustrating isn't it. I hope your dispute gets sorted soon.0

Can you please tell me why on here everyone always says open a Paypal dispute and not an ebay one? If i have ever needed to open one always done it in ebay, just a bit confused.

If the seller had put a tracking number in the boxes, you could track it via RM/Courier and see if it had been posted/delivered and follow up that way.0 -

For an INR claim paypal has a fixed time frame- so you know exactly what is happening. An ebay claim tends to be a bit more 'vague'I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
