complaint to a catalogue as new customer

Hi
Hope someone can give me some advise please.

Last week i placed a order with a well known catalogue. My very first order with them. This means i was a brand new customer to them. I ordered 4 bits of furniture from them. 2 Parts ( 2 boxes) were delivered last week and there were 4 screws missing. I called the company and they sent the replacements in the post which i have now received. Then the rest of the order (2 more pieces of furnature) was delivered this week. (this consits of 5 parcels) My husband opened four of the boxes and started marking of the contents against the assembaly sheet like he always does before he starts to build it. Only to find out that we had a whole box missing and one sent to us by mistake. The box which was missing was the whole carcus. My husband called and spoke to the firm and after 15 mins wasn't allowed to carry on with the conversation because he wasn't the account holder.(He had a day off work to take in this delivery) He emailed me at work with the list of parts missing so i could call from work. I did this and after 15 mins again i managed to get my husbands name on my account so that he could call them. I explained ot them the whole story again and she asked what we had received. She didn't want to know what i had missing (this is what i had a list of) i explained i didnt know what we had got because i was at work. So when i got home i called them again and they said they would send replacements out but would be on a 10 day delivery. Whilst typing out a email of complaint my husband shouts down and says you never guess what, the set of draws has 2 parts missing. As you can imagine im not very happy. Hubby took day off work all the bits missing etc. So thought after complaining on the phone id sent a email through their website. They have a complaint form which states you can email phone or write your complaint. As id complained by phone i thought id fill out the complaint email form. They have replied today asking me to write the complaint in. Arghhhhhhh. Do you think i could ask for compo?
Things will get better day by day.
