Refused a current account without an overdraft

Wow, I didn't think my credit history was that bad.

They've offered me a cash account without a Visa card, which is no good to me.

The only thing I can think of is referral charges for unauthorised overdrafts, but they have charges on the cash account too for returned direct debits.
To alcohol... the cause of, and solution to... all of life's problems.

    which bank was it? have you tried citibank there is a big sucess rate for applicants with low credt ratings, ( not insinuating that you have bad credit)
    but its worth a go xx

    I dont have a credit rating at all as I am new in UK but I got accepted. So yes you should give it a try.
