advice needed on plumbers invoice

Hi all,
Wondering what people might do in this situation. I have just received an invoice from a plumbing company who are charging me for 3 visits, the smallest of these was for 10 minutes and on all occasions they never diagnosed the correct issue, replaced a part they said was faulty but didn't solve problem that was happening and wasn't cheap. In the end i got someone else in and it's now all sorted for half the cost. Am i right to dispute the labour charge? The cost would have been much higher had i let them carry out the other work they were suggesting and i still wouldn't have had a fix.
