HI ALL
newbie here so please bear with me..
just about to post my complaint letter to ACF car finance (Cygnet financial) after managing to get hold of my old HP agreement and realising that i was sold ppi to the value of £6300!!! (despite being a student and specifically asking at point of sale if the ppi was compulsory - i was told yes!) problem is it was taken out in 2001 (before they were fsa registered) FO says that if they reject i might be able to go through them and go for the amount from the underwriters?
anyone have any advice on similar circs?
also it waas in joint names with my ex (i made ALL payments but they told me to put his name on as it would help me get credit) whose date of birth i have no idea of anymore
bit of an odd one i know... any advice/success stories/failures youd like to share with me would be SUPER appreciated!
