I purchased a boiler from British Gas 09/2004 & only paid for half of it, the other they financed for me through GE money attached to it was PPI with Cardiff Pinnacle. In Sept 2006 my husband had a stroke and Cardiff Pinnacle paid GE Money for approx 2 - 3 years. Then they stopped paying. Were they right to stop paying? Was this a mis-sold PPI if they do not cover for such an illness. My husband can no longer work and is on DLA & IB due to the stroke. I came accross the paperwork the other day as I am still paying for the boiler as the payments are only £31 monthly taken over 5 years (for some reason I agreed to this when I was quiet poorly with BC) If I can claim or if you think I have a case where do I start? thank you:think:

You need to ask them. However, it would sound right. Most short term payment protections only pay out for a limited payment. Typically 1-2 years.

A mis-sale relates to how the policy was sold. Not regarding a claim or potential claim. As it happens, they paid out. So, no issue.
