  • Thanks everyone for the excellent thread.

Is there any way that new answers provided could have a date added in red (refreshed every week?) similar to the pigsback forum? I find the list so huge and hard to remember what ones I've done and don't fancy making my entry not count with a 2nd entry in error. ;)

you cant enter the comp twice anyway , the puzzler wont let you so no fear of multiple enteries

Tbh I find the easiest way is to read back from the end of the thread, then you can thanks OPs as you go along too. It is impossible to enter these twice btw so there's no risk of making your entry not count that way.

How are other people managing with it, any thoughts?

i think your doing a great job strepsy and i think it would get too confusing if any more info was added , the end dates answers issues and whos buying them are enough work i think without putting the added dates on , not really nessecary as you cant enter twice , well thats my point of view any hoos

Strepy you are doing a wonderful job ~ I'm going to nominate you for post of the month. How on earth you keep up with this, I don't know. When I get a chance I will get to newsagents to see what I can find ~ last time there was nothing that had not been done.
Decided to wait to post of the month until 1st March, as there aren't many days left
    this month.

I'll second that furndire I think you're doing a fab job too strepsy!! :A :A I also go along the route of looking down all of the new posts to give people their thanks and enter new answers that way so don't duplicate but it is really handy having everything on the first board.

Just keep up the good work there's no need to make it any more complicated :):)

If there are any of the handy ones still needed on Monday i'll get them when I go to tesco as I know they are only sold there...can't get there any earlier with my boys I'm afraid!!

  • I also check every post as I subscribe to this particular thread with a daily update email.. well I thought I checked every post, but going back to page one I now see quite a few I hadn't already entered.

Strepsy is doing a sterling job and I'm never short on my thanks to them. I was making the suggestion not to criticise but to help streamline the information saving us having to check every drop down item at Puzzler. :D

As this thread is getting busier by the day you have to really stay on top of it. Even if nobody agrees with me I'm glad you read my post anyhoo.

I really appreciate everyone's contributions to what has become a excellent source of competition info! :T

My comments about 2nd competition entries was not entirely meant for this thread. Sorry about that. :o It was intended with the other mags like Real People, That's Life etc in mind. And yes you'd think I'd remember issue numbers etc but my newbie brain has yet to find space for that. (again :o )
