Wow, you all seem to be paying alot more than me, we agreed on £350! I dunno, I think thats pretty fair. And I think if I pushed it I could get them to take less...hmmm. Thanks all!Aim - BUYING A HOUSE  by November 2013!Saved = 100% on 03/07/12 :j0

Yup on utilities and maybe on food, we were gonna see because I said I would do alot of the cooking, and my partner works in retail so gets certain things free/reduced. So probably will work out maybe buying one shop ontop of that.Aim - BUYING A HOUSE  by November 2013!Saved = 100% on 03/07/12 :j0 -
After a few issues with a houseshare/housemate, my mum and stepdad offered for me to move back home but have more freedom than being "the child" - sorting my own food, doing my own cooking, etc. The deal would be that I'd pay slightly less than I'd pay in a houseshare - afterall, if I paid the same rate, I may as well have just found a new houseshare. The money I saved would be freed up for savings/driving lessons/etc. The money they "made" from me would just ease the pressure off them a bit - they weren't struggling but it would mean a few more nights out and being able to keep Sky etc. so both of us benefitting. Ended up sorting out the issues and staying in the share but I didn't think it was a bad deal (just not entirely sure I could cope with living in close quarters with my mum anymore after having had independence!)0
