This time with First Plus [she hangs her head in shame].
Current loan which has been running 4 years, with 6 years left to run. Logged complaint on 17 November. Complaint upheld today with offer. Checked over figures and all looks to be correct.
Will be posting agreement tomorrow, by registered post, and then await the 6-8 weeks wait for payment. Have got some quotes for standalone policies, which is soooo much cheaper!
Massive thanks again to this forum. I would never have claimed if I hadn't found this website. Between Santander and FP, we will have repaid £10k worth of debt, saving ouselves another £7k on our current loan, which we now hope to repay early, and with the monthly savings we hope to be able to take the kids away on holiday later this year.
We still have two claims outstanding with Lloyds which we should hear back from in the next month (or so.....).
Life is starting to look sooooo much better!
