    I met Liz :j :j :j

So spill the beans, does she look as good close up as she does on Air?

She looks fabulous ;) She's tiny.

(I met her last month - didn't buy the book though :D)

Yes, she does look amazing :D Maybe a couple of teeny tiny lines on her forehead that are marginally more prominent than they look with her QVC makeup on, but yes, she has incredible skin. I complimented her on her daughter's skin, too, on the basis of the last big QVC day.

There is apparently going to be a "special" (i.e. additional to the usual 3 times a year) TSV next month on QVC, on Wednesday 27th May.

It was a great evening, lots of free organic chardonnay and a win-a-facial prize draw which unfortunately I didn't win :(

True. But she is in her mid 40s ;)

(My mum was chuffed to have fewer wrinkles at 54 than Liz at 44 :rotfl:)

It was a very non MSE evening :o After being plied with free wine all evening I ended up buying all the things I'd been meaning to buy when I had the cash/when I REALLY needed them/when they were on special offer.

Hmm, is a diet of beans on toast for the rest of the month any good for the skin?;)

If I had had a couple of weeks' notice I would have ordered the book off Amazon to save myself a few quid, and taken it in to get signed :D but at one day's notice it wasn't an option :o

There were quite a few freebies though - the wine, nibbles from the recipes out of the book and strawberries dipped in choc  and a goody bag for everybody containing a travel size C&P with a muslin cloth, a 30ml Skin Tonic spritzer, and a 2ml vial of Superskin Concentrate.

I had a flick through the book, but there wasn't much 'new' in there TBH.

The event we went to cost £10 per ticket, and had all the free food and champagne you could scoff. You got £10 off any purchases and a goody bag with 100ml C&P and cloth, mini superskin moisturiser and 2ml of the concentrate. I too went slightly mad, and having had LE for xmas and b'day presents I shouldn't need to buy anything for at least 3 years :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I know what you mean, but some of us aren't quite as experienced in the art of being high-maintenance as you are :D :rotfl:

After doing a bit of detective work on Liz's website I see that they have a pair of footcare products launching next month... hmmm, I don't suppose that might have anything to do with this "special one-off" TSV...

It wasn't in the last one - that was a sort of mini home facial kit with a selection of the three face masks.

I'm not a huge fan of the orange flower shower gel either (or the orange flower hand wash for that matter), but I love the energising one. It's a good job a little goes such a long way though, because it's fiendishly expensive
