Returning a top to EXHIBIT

Bought top for daughter, while wearing, it got bigger on her due to the material. It went from a 12 to a 18, so to me it was faulty. Returned to shop within 2 weeks of purchase. they were down right rude when i tried to say about my rights. They could'nt see a fault in this, by this time seeing red, they could only return to head office for checking.So after waiting on a call which never came, called them myself to day to be told nothing wrong with it. There was nothing I could do about it. She started to get cheeky and fed up with me.Told them we will never shop with them again as no customer should have to be treated like this, but they didn't seem to care. Now have to go pick it up again in store. Anyone out there had this problem, Can anyone help please.
