Try the photobox.com suggested by hpiper. They do lovely books as suggested by hpiper - think you can also add text to books. Work out about £20. You can also use your photos to make other gifts - on mugs, on calendars, keyrings etc.

Thanks so much for all the ideas, I've got a framed pic of my husband and I, a bar of Granny's favourite choccy, a half sized bottle of brandy, a teddy with a jumper on and "Happy 95th Birthday Granny" sewn onto it, some floral notecards with "A note from Dorothy" on, a Happy Birthday badge with her face on, some rose talcum powder, posh hankies, a tea towel with scenes of Gt Yarmouth (where I live) so she can use it and think of the family, and a sign. It says "If things get better with time then I'm approaching magnificent". Hehehe.
I got a lovely (half price) wicker basket to put everything in and I've ordered a couple of helium balloons (numbers 9 and 5) to tie to the handles.
Plus a free personalised card from Moonpig.
It needs a couple of sentimental things still, I'll include a letter and a box of precious memories and a photo montage.
I haven't seen my Granny in a long time as I'm not able to travel and she can't go far either anymore but I know she'll be thrilled that so much thought has gone into her gift basket.
