FTB and new bathroom- no idea where to start

Good Afternoon,
I'm about to exchange on a lovely little flat which needs a bit of work done on it. The most disastrous room is the bathroom, it's narrow and long and sort of L shaped. It has the most hideous corner bath with no shower however the rest of the suite is salvageable.
I am looking at getting it fully re-tiled, fitting a new bath and a mixer shower over the bath. To save money I'm going to order the bath in and get someone to fit it, fit the shower and tile the bathroom. I have a few questions about this!
1) Do plumbers do tiling?!
2) Which order would these jobs need to be done in (I am totally clueless!)
3) what would be a reasonable quote to wall tile, fit a concealed mixer shower and bath in a 3m x 1.6 bathroom?
Thank you very much

You need to get someone in to look at it. I wouldn't dream of suggesting any sort of definitive price for you without doing so or getting a lot more detail. As a window though I reckon you would need to budget perhaps somewhere between £500 and £1k. Don't take that as gospel or a benchmark though. A proper site survey is needed. The size of the bathroom is not too relevant actually in such a job - in fact the smaller and more pokey they are sometimes the more difficult the job.
You are right to order the higher budget items yourself but take advice from your chosen contractor as to what to get. I would suggest that salvaging the WHB and loo is probabl;y not sensible. Replace the lot as a complete suite.
Rough order of work, remove old bath, remove tiles, replumb as required, fit bath and shower, retile.
You need yourself a bathroom fitter who can do both plumbing and tiling and all the other giggery pokery which goes with this sort of job. Ask around, friends, neighbours etc and get recommendations. And get three quotes (not estimates) for comparison purposes.
