in IVA & DRO
Good Afternoon,
My IVA started end October 2005 and finished April 2011.
I have been working on cleaning up my file & all defaults have now eventually dropped off - including one which was incorrectly dated after the IVA commencement date!
Anyway I thought I would check my file today with credit expert & although there are no defaults or adverse account info, it is still showing the fact I entered into an IVA in 2005.
It is showing as 'danger' under the section 'You have an outstanding public record'. And when you click that it expands & shows the info.
Surely this is incorrect & shouldn't be showing as its over 6 years ago?
I obviosuly need to get this removed as it will affect my ability to get good deals on finance in the future, can anyone advise who I need to contact, my IP or is it the credit agencies themselves?
Thanks in advance!

HI. First of all check the insolvency register to make sure that you have been removed from that. If not your IP should remind them ! If you have been removed from the register send the credit reference agency a copy of your completion certificate and request that the entries be removed within 28 days.
Have you checked with all threee agencies ?0 -
Thanks Foggybrain, I'm not on the register any more. I only checked the main 2 agencies & its on both of them.
I will do as u suggest & send the completion certificate to all 3, don't know why I didn't think of that myself.
It would be helpful if IP's suggested things like this so you can get on with your life!0
