    I have Economy 7 heating and find it works quite well. It can drop a little cold in the late evening in the depths of winter, but then I'm one of those people who thinks you should be wearing a thick jumper at home in the winter. On the plus side, you don't have to pay a gas standing charge if you don't have gas at all, plus you don't need servicing, safety checks, a service contract, etc. which all add costs to gas heating that shouldn't be ignored.
