hello all, My hotpoint fridgefreezer has now died, so I am after a new fridge freezer. I want one which is frost free, lasts forever and is reasonable price (my last one was £299,00)
I dont want a hotpoint, have no faith in this brand. I have had a Bosh washing machine since 2k6, thought I may look into a BoSh, or a Becko (I think which recommends a Beco) and comments, suggestions welcome.

I think you'll find it hard to buy a fridge/freezer these days that lasts forever.
Bosch will likely last longer than a Beko and probably has a longer warranty.
Other brands to look out for are Siemens (part of Bosch), Fischer-Paykel, AEG and Samsung. If my post hasn't helped you, then don't click the 'Thanks' button!0 -
£300 if you are expecting that for your current budget won't buy a huge choice of decent quality frost free F/F's
Assuming you are looking at standard 60cm wide ones of around 1.8m tall for example, you would need to be looking at £500 + for anything of reasonable quality with a decent warranty. As above Siemens and Bosch are certainly good starting points0 -
i`m in the same situation, was thinking about getting another frost free one but cant really stretch to a decent brand that's frost free.
Am currently thinking about a Bosch AvantiXX KGV36VW30G,
not frost free but low frost...which apparently mean 50% less frost in freezer.. £385 less 54 cashback seams quite a good deal at the minute
Anyone got something like??0 -
thanks all, went to Currys and Comet today, got a fab beko good size FF, four shelves, including a wine rack inside the fridge. In the freezer I have four drawers. Both stores had the FF for the same price. Currys claim it was originally £500.00 reduced to £269.99. Fell in love with the FF when I saw it. Chose Currys over Comet as they had a quicker delivery time. Currys will also offer free delivery, return all old packaging and take the old model free also, I am a happy chappie, thanks allTrinidad - I have a number of needs. try i bidders... stick it in your google
and search by county for your local auction house.... for some new ....some grade a and b returns
great for clothing and catalogue returns too
watchout different auctioneers have different deposits/terms ... most have delivery vans too ... real bargains to0 be had this time of the year as not many are buying
if your in the north west try simon charles on a weds
you can view live auctions as a guest ( you dont need too pay a deposit )

Best thing is to find a good site with lots of reviews and not worry if there are one or two bad ones. I got a Hotpoint by using reviews from this site...http://www.reevoo.com/browse/product_type/fridge-freezers/product_brand/Hotpoint
I am fastidious so I was comparing noise levels etc and when I got it I wasn't disappointed. Good luck.
By the way my fridge freezer is still running great after two years.0
