Seller cancelled the transaction

I bought 3 items from the same seller this morning, while waiting for a combined postage invoice I got the following message, well 3 messages as I got one for each item.
The seller is a large one and seems to have plenty of stock as he has now relisted the items at a higher price.
What happens if I hit the Decline cancellation button?
Seller recently opened a case to cancel a transaction for an item you recently purchased: Item Description
Reason for request to cancel the transaction: The seller did not provide a specific reason.
Click the 'Respond now' button to accept or decline this cancellation.

he has to pay the fee's if you decline..cant make em send them though0

If you decline the seller won't get their fees back but this doesn't mean they will be forced to complete the sale.
Did they send any email to explain anything? Out of interest what's the price difference between what you ordered at and the new listing? In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0 -
Have you message them asking why they have declined the sale?0

If they haven't contacted you at all then I would just decline the cancellation and if there is a box to respond say you wanted the goods.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. They just said there was an error in their listings.
They have relisted the items at a higher price, but for one of the items they had sold 5 and had 1 left. And for another item they had sold 2. The third item was a one off item, but they have sold the same item in different colours for the same price.
I can't see how you can list 6 items and sell 5 of them and not notice the price is wrong!0 -

Just decline the mutual then, it is poor selling practice.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I have declined all three, stating why.
One of the items was £14 and he had sold 5, now it is £39.0 -
Would the OP also be able to leave neg feedback to warn others about the seller?
Feedback can always be left unless a Unpaid Item Dispute is closed in the seller's favour.
Mistakes happen, perhaps the listing was wrong or the item has gone out of stock and the price from the supplier is higher but without clear and apologetic comms the seller isn't really doing much to appease their buyer which doesn't really make it a positive transaction. Almost any mistake would be forgiveable in my opinion, but only if the seller gave the impression they really care that I've been let down.In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0
