I sent 2 items I sold yesterday on Ebay to 2 different buyers.
1 item was sent recorded post and the other more valuable item that needed to get there pretty sharp was sent by RoyalMail Special Delivery 1pm.


Guess which one still hasnt arrived.........


Ive just checked the status and its due for delivery tomorrow!!
Whats that all about?
Its says moneyback guarantee for delay on the ticket so I assume I can claim back my costs for its delay from them?

Yea, you just need to write to them.
I got the money back when they didnt deliver on time before. They couldnt say why, but sent me a cheque in about 7 days.

You'll be able to claim your postage costs back because it wasn't delivered on time.

The item is insured up to £500, so you'll get compensation for it's value if it has been lost in the post.

Ring the customer services number on your proof of posting slip and they will help you.

And if you had consequential loss, you could claim on that for the delay, though you'd need to prove the costs incurred...
