Help for a Reckless Noob

Looking for some help and advice please. Was just doing a bit of spring cleaning in January and i found some old documents which states that i have been paying PPI for a credit card and an old loan of which i did not realise. I phoned a PPI reclaim company and they stated that because i was on a Debt management plan they wouldn't help me. Would it be advisable to reclaim this lost PPI on my own and take the money off my Debt? If so could you link me to the idiots guide and best way to do this?
Thanks

My goodness. A claims company doing the honest thing and not taking you on. That is rare. Using a claims company in your situation would be financial suicide (you dont get the money but you still get the bill).Would it be advisable to reclaim this lost PPI on my own and take the money off my Debt?
If you were mis-sold you can still complain. Any money can be used against amounts written off first, then arrears/defaults and only if there is a suprlus after that would you get it.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
