Best value quality inkjet priunter paper?

I'm after some good quality paper for an HP inkjet printer.

This is for printing colour images - I'm not after the glossy "photo paper" but the stuff that is thicker than normal paper and has a surface which means the ink doesn't spread too much.

I know the various printer manufacturers sell branded stuff but my instinct tells me this is not the best value to be had.

Can anyone recommend any well-priced generic brands/suppliers that they've had good results with?

Are you using HP branded inks or compatibles, if the latter, which type, dye or pigment based.

At the moment I'm using this:

so, dye-based according to the specs there.

Navigator do a nice 120gsm paper, satin finish to it. No bleed through, unless you do heavy coverage with single colour, then you get a little bit come through.

Could look at using 160gsm paper from staples, also a nice smooth finish, and lot heavier.
