ebay/paypal supsended and refunding items ive already posted!

right...i think ive sussed it out....all of the items that were being sent 1st class are being held by paypal and the ones that were going to be sent either recorded or special delivery are completed...! So i'll post these ones and add the tracking numbers and see what happens.

Phoning paypal is still the best option here, but you may well have run into issues because your 'associated' address has had issues since you left. That can be enough to suspend you- but equally it might be the flatmate.

Don't email ebay or paypal, phone them.

One other thing, sometimes paypal and ebay use a sledgehammer to crack a nut- so yoru friend that shares the address hasn't ever bought anything from you via ebay has she?, even before you began sharing an address?

no,we havent ever brought anything from each other via ebay. I think I know why this has gone the way it has...i rang paypal yesterday to sort out the ID issue, I said i was reluctant to send ID but I will do asap and asked several times how long it would be from sending the ID and other items to the limitation being removed. I got the most sarcastic man ever on the phone who really wasnt helpful at all.

To update you all - Ive phoned paypal and actually got through to someone who was willing to help me, instead of getting a generic/scripted response. I have been told to upload all P.O.P and tracking numbers that I have and paypal can see the items have been sent and close all holds. I still have to send my ID,etc though to get the limitation removed. Its going to be a long day scanning and uploading lots and lots of paperwork... thanks to everyone for their help and advice x

thanks soolin, im just gutted that the money I was raising was almost half of my deposit to move house with and I thought ebay was a safe bet to kill two birds with one stone (get rid of junk an make money). I'll update you all on the situation when I know more.

I hope it works out but after about 50 phone calls with paypal over the last couple of months, I'm keeping everything else crossed as well.:(

I bet, its just doing my head in now, im now having buyers open INR cases just because 'ebay told me to' Tempted just to say '**** it' and not bother posting the rest of the items now If I do, i am literally going to have to go to the post office first thing and respond to all the held transactions with the POPs and tracking info. Ugh, I just hope they release my account once they have got all the paperwork they want from me.

As they have told me they are closing my account, will I still be able to get the money in the account? Ive provided POP for everything posted so far.

If they are closing your account, any money that they haven't refunded will stay in there for 6 months. I had exactly the same as you with ebay buyers trying their luck...............either naively or purposely trying to get a refund, and keep the goods. I really do hope it works out.

Ive decided im not posting anymore items, Im only being told when ebay are closing cases in the buyers favour, im not being told when they are opened,and they are refunding ones that I have already sent off! luckily it was only a few bits of lego but I dread to think whats to come with the mobile phone I sent off
