He's gorgeous and could very well have some MC in him! My big MC has barely discernable ear tufts but such hairy "snowshoes" you can hardly see his pads. As he is obviously long-haired, now is the time to get him used to being groomed. Big Tig only needs loose hair combing out when he is moulting, but Merlin has fine fur that matts. Check for matting particularly in all the hard-to-get-to bits - inside his thighs, armpits and tummy!

Floofy! :j And multi-coloured jellybeans! (Pink are my favourite!). He's a little stunner :D Thanks for sharing him with us :T
Don't put it DOWN, put it AWAY! ;)

  • If you have hard floors, be prepared for him to skid around corners and never being able to stop in time. The fluffy toes act like snowshoes in the winter, but ice skates indoors.

Does his back end look like he's wearing fluffy pantaloons?

Probably got a bit of MC in the mix, but as there aren't any ear tufts, not 100% MC. He may get quite large, but no guarantees.

    Hi
He is absolutely lovely congratulation on your new addition. As for the Maine Coon likeness I think he could have a bit in the nose its quite long. I had to laugh at the snowshoe thing so true about them skidding on wood floors mine do all the time. Here is a picture of my two when they were 3 months old.
I also agree about getting them use to being brushed its essential with that big coat. THomas will actually lie on his back and put this paws in the air so I can do under the arms. Jack on the other hand prefers to bite me when I try to do it.
    Once again congratulation.
