I find a good one for doorsteppers is, before you answer the door, put on a hat or coat. If it is someone you want to see you have just come in, if not you are just going out-

I accept that some folks are trying to do a Job, but if that is the case the first ploite no tahnkyou should be all that is required for them to vacate your doorstep. Howver I do not feel this applies to the Genavas Witnesses and The Morons as they are not getting paid to come and harass you, interupting your Dinner or Favourite TV programme, so to the I feel a 'Go forth and multiply' response should be perfectly acceptable either taht or tell them you can't talk about their deity right now as you are busy praying to Satn.

I work for Clarks, we arent actually made to sell shoecare/get any commision from selling it. we just get told to offer it so customers dont come back saying their shoes are broken/didnt last/are ruined and we never told them what to do.
