Hi all, I bought my 10 year old son an Arnova 7 G2 tablet for Christmas, he was using it tonight and downloaded a fingerprint security app from Appslib and the whole thing froze......I switched it off and back on and now there is just a black screen with the menu buttons at the top.......I can't access ANYTHING!! Can anyoune give me any advice on what to do?????!!!!! :mad:

Unless the tablet had a fingerprint scanner, the app would be no good. I have a feeling the app has locked the Arnova and is waiting for input from something that does not exist.
Have you tried pressing the reset button (you may need a pin to poke in the hole).
Btw, freezing Arnova's are, it appears, quite a common phenomonon.Never Knowingly Understood.

JHust to add to the above post, I think the factory reset might be the next step, which I believe is Volume + and the pinhole reset. (if it doesn't seem to do anything, try it again holding it in maybe 10 seconds, then try 20 seconds, as there may be a time that you need to do it for)0
