He must be applying for 11/12 year, as currently you can apply for both. Have a look on his online application and it will say what year he has applied for on 'My Account'.SAVINGS: £63.86 // £3,0000

It's broken. On the contrary, I'm continuing and it's trying to give me £9000. Give it a couple of weeks, the whole thing needs sorting out for almost every student. He'll get his loan.Sealed Pot Challenge #239

Definitely 12/13 - have double checked - also it tells him his fees are £9k and that he'll have to make up the difference.xxx Nikki xxx0 -

Thanks - he says he's going to let the system settle then try again and see what happens - otherwise it's a call to Student Finance which I hear is an event in itself!!xxx Nikki xxx0 -
Student finance have only done a soft launch of 2012 applications far and it's earlier than we expected (we being student advisors in universities of which I am one). I will check the latest practitioner information for you.0

Thank you - that would be very much appreciated.xxx Nikki xxx0 -
I'm waiting for responses from a mail base but one suggestion so far is that if he had started applying for funding last year for 2011/12 and then not started a course the system would think he was returning or starting a second course. If this is the case SFE will need to cancel the old application.0

Nope - he's never applied before - he's taking his A-levels at the moment so not applied for anything previously.xxx Nikki xxx0
