Paypal 'echeques'

Hi,
Only sell a few bit's and bob's on ebay and this week 3 people have paid me via 'echeque' - is there any way I can decline a echeque or change my paypal not to accept these?
Only reason I ask is that they are taking forever to cash.
Thanks

Paypal see it as a valid payment and wil not allow you to refuse them. The only option you have is to try and get the buyers to cancel them and pay by another means.

eCheques can bounce, for a buyer with high feedback who uses eBay regularly and has purchased a low value item it's fairly safe to post, otherwise hold off or refund the payment with the buyer's agreement (I don't think that the buyer can cancel from their end) so they can pay again with a card backing their payment.
And for anyone using selling manager keep your eyes peeled as orders with pending eCheques are currently appearing in the 'Awaiting Postage' section. In the game of chess you can never let your adversary see your pieces0
