Indesit/Hotpoint Dishwasher fdw60p

We 3 years ago bought a Indesit/hotpoint Aquarius FDW60P for the 1st year it ran great until 2009 when its now suffering a catalouge of repairs for the same thing the timer control started to burn it self out .
Hotpoint keep coming out to repair the same thing over and over as it stands 10 times they have come out and this Wednesday will make it no:11.

Demestic and General only covers it for repair ,they will replace it if hotpoint/indesit writes it off or the stop making the parts which isn't any time soon:mad:

So are we stuck with this now fire trap or is there anything we can do about this.:mad:

What have they said?

I assume you have some sort of extended warranty with D&G.

You also have statutory rights with/against the retailer.

We bought it from Westgate department store which now doesn't exist, they where taken over by Beale's of Bedford recently.
Yes D&G are now serving us with a extended warranty for repairs only, will only do something if Indesit write it off!.
I have spoken to indesit they will only send a engineer out who does nothing but fob us off with daft excuses why like the hot steam got into it etc but wont write it off as parts are still available so we are now in a loop.:(
