Seen this item 140677973881, it's for one paperclip @ 1p, collection only. What's that all about? Seems most of their feedback is from one person - is it something to do with building feedback?

strange!!!Compers challenge 2024 wins!!!!.... Oct £60... £10 free spins, £50 palm, m&m pouch0

It also says paypal payments accepted - so surely he will make a loss once fees are incurred?
Please, pretty please!:D0 -
Its definite feedback building although I think they have done it in such a way that it is probably allowed (i.e they have not stated it is for feedback building).0

Sellers have to allow Paypal as a payment option on all listings, even if its collection only - its compulsory. Whether they will actually accept it if a buyer does pay via Paypal is another issue and one that usually leads to upsets and bad feedback!!It also says paypal payments accepted0 -
Saw that last week, its local to me. I wondered myself what on earth it was all about.0

It's really odd - particularly as he has 20 of these 1p paperclip listings going! I note he is a new seller, yet to achieve 10 DSR ratings. It doesn't look like he needs to build up feedback - perhaps he needs to build up his DSRs?
By this, I mean perhaps one or more of his very first few customers gave him 3 stars, which immediately put him in dangerous low DSR territory, and he's raising his DSRs by getting a few friends to buy 1p items and leave him 5-star ratings?"The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing.

With a name like "mrabercrombie" I can only imagine what he wants to sell.
You could always give him a call and ask about the paper clip, dimensions, what it was used for?, when it was manufactured...0 -
Maybe you ought to pay and ask to collect it!!!pulliptears wrote: »Saw that last week, its local to me. I wondered myself what on earth it was all about.

The thought crossed my mind lol. Along with "who the hell is bidding on a paper clip!??0 -
Could be one of these silly "buy a house with a paper clip" schemes, like here : http://oneredpaperclip.blogspot.com/0
