Experiences.... i feel i was missold today..... almost.
I rang for contents insurance. As he was going through the policy, he asked me if i wanted additional accidental damage.... excellent.
He preceded to give me the price (£94) explaining this covers £40,000 contents and your legal expenses... (this was the first it was mentioned).
I now asked how much without.... £55. £39 for something i havent asked for, or asked if i required!!
What a cheek..... at the point i ended the call, rather than having a go at him..... now isnt this essentially what the banks done with PPI.
Now as this was contents did he not think i may already have this with building insurance? in the world of insurance its dangerous to assume. you need material fact.

legal cover is something offered with most contents policies, its actually quite handy. I agree with what you are saying though.0

One advantage of websites: you can untick all the dang checkboxes without having some bozo trying to convince you that it's a really good thing and you want it really. At least he mentioned it was on the policy I suppose.0
