Foundation account opened. Hurrah! Seems the stumbling block was hard-copy proof of discharge. Definitely worth getting a certificate of discharge from the court. Those on benefits can apply for fee remission.0

That's brilliant news Kitten and thanks for letting us know. Really glad I got my discharge cert from the Court now as I may need to open a Foundation account in due course.When I joined, I needed a name. The forum members gave one to me...I am INAN

Maybe you won't need to appeal at all if you have that piece of paper in the first place. This has taken a good few weeks, my having initially applied before Christmas. After handing in the certificate, it's taken a further fortnight. So I recommend applying asap!0
