Hi all, i applied for help with my morgage in june 11 via the MI12 form from DWP. I was told this would take 3 months to process. I waited the 3 months to find out no one had recived my form and was advised to resubmit. Which i did, stating i had filled it out back in june and asked to have it back dated. They have agreed to pay my interest but have declined the back dated part stating they had sent me several forms and reminders regarding my claim form MI12, they refused the back date it as i have not provided evidence to support the fact i returned the form.
I can not provide proof of postage of the form, any ideas on how to word a appeal letter with out any evidence???
many thanks in advance
