suggestions for a family holiday

Hello
I need some help please as I want to go somewhere for a family holiday (only ever been to spain once which was a disaster-long story lol) and would like some suggestions please as I havent got a clue. Either in this Country or abroad (no longer than 3 hour flight). Two of my sons will be coming age 15 and 11 and a hubby that doesnt mind where!
Also can anyone give me an idea what would be a good price for any suggested holidays as again I dont have a clue.

Consider Switzerland.
You can get a train pass, giving free travel for children (15 or less) and half-price travel for adults. And you can rent a chalet or apartment for between 200 and 400 pounds per week, look at interhome.ch (they have a UK website with higher prices but descriptions in English, but book on the .ch website for the lower prices).0 -
